The South Londoner’s voice went international with the release of

GRAMMY-nominated number 1 I Got U with Duke Dumont & Jax Jones in 2014 which

went on to become one of the biggest songs of the year but unfortunately,

Kelli-Leigh was an uncredited vocalist. The powerhouse’s vocals also feature on the

club anthems, More Than Friends with James Hype, I Wanna Feel with Second City.

In 2021 Kelli-Leigh had a viral TikTok when she showed how many recognisable

dance tracks she has been the vocalist on, but people had no idea she was involved.

She puts this down to “being taken advantage of.” She also said she didn’t

understand the wider impact financially, and that “greater equality and opportunity

for women like [me]” would help these issues to begin to change.

With a career that includes over 500 million streams on Spotify, two UK number 1s

and three UK Top 10 hits, Kelli-Leigh is ready to break out and be known as a solo

artist in her own right, not just a voice you may have heard.
