17-year-old Coventry based Rapper and recording artist Kanda shows maturity by reaching out to his peers after teaming up with Suicide Prevention charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) to release his new single about the mental health in young males and the importance of being there for each other.

 

Having amassed over 200,000 streams from previous releases and Inspired by the likes of Bruno Mars and J Hus, Kanda aka Sachin uses his lyrical storytelling to speak about a number of different socially dividing topics with the younger generation. It was his honesty in writing that was picked up by 6 Music’s Tom Robinson who said his previous single ‘Never The Same’ was ‘the most emotionally powerful song’ he had ever heard, regarding the BLM movement.
