Andrea Kirwin is an Australian-Fijian Singer songwriter who’s just released her new album, ‘Bloom’, in June 2021. The daughter of a Fijian Church minister, Andrea was raised listening to the ‘Sound of Music’, and singing 3 part harmonies with her siblings in Queensland, Australia. A natural story teller, Andrea also has Irish-Australian heritage that hails from County Cork, Ireland, and her music is a smooth blend of soul, folk, with a hint of RnB. Backed by her 13 piece band, The Yama-Nui Social Club, Andrea performs at Folk Festivals in Australia, such as The Woodford Folk Festival and others, and is currently taking part in the Global Music Match with 76 Artists from around the world. Released under Andrea’s own record label, Peace Run Records, ‘Bloom’ is a truly independent album, and one inspired by love and the nature in us to bloom. The album consists of 10 tracks, beautifully recorded at Yama-Nui Recording Studio by Sound Engineer Paul Bromley and mastered with Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, Nashville, USA. ‘Bloom’ is available for purchase at Bandcamp and is on all streaming platforms, and Andrea’s earlier albums can be found at www.peacerunrecords.com Once international travel and touring opens up again, Andrea plans to travel and tour the album solo through the UK and Canada, but for now please enjoy the sweet and soulful sounds of ‘Bloom’.
