Porcelain Moon is the musical fusion of husband and wife team, Emma Goode (lead vocalist/pianist) and Gerry Matthee (producer/multi-instrumentalist), who have been spinning synth-pop daydreams into reality since meeting in high school. They further honed their craft, studying side-by-side towards jazz and classical music degrees at the University of Cape Town.

Their sound can be described as dreamy, with synth-driven melodies, cinematic progressions, honeyed pop vocals, and punchy beats. They’ve been compared to the likes of Haley Williams (Paramore), London Grammar and Oh Wonder. Emma’s vocals are at once intimate and soaring, floating across bouncing grooves, lush 80s/90s-inspired synth and drum machine textures, and rounded out by Gerry’s tasteful guitar and bass parts with a modern production twist.
