Stars of the UK vocal scene join forces. In March 2023, Platoon will release two new singles from five-time Grammy winners, The Swingles and soulful rising stars, Vadé. Since their first collaboration in 2017 on Sky One TV’s Sing: Ultimate A Cappella, the groups have toured the UK and have now arranged and recorded two favourite covers: Man in the Mirror and Time after Time.

Featured in this epic 11-part a cappella arrangement is Michael Jackson’s 3 x platinum record, Man in the Mirror conveying the paramount and socially conscious lyric that “If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and then make a change”. They will also release their rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s signature love song, Time After Time, which became her first number-one single from her debut studio album.

The Swingles are “without question one of the best close harmony groups in the world” according to Gareth Malone OBE. They have been featured on multiple films and television shows including Downsizing, Glee and Sex and the City and have performed with artists such as Labrinth, Jamie Cullum and Kurt Elling. With their trademark sound and innate musicality, The Swingles are singers, soloists, songwriters and storytellers who combine as one seamlessly blended and timeless sound.
