One of the UKs most respected DJs makes his first ever official release, proudly debuting on Cr2 records. Whether rocking a crowd of 90,000 at his Wembley Stadium residences, or playing the main stage at Printworks, Tony Perry has been marked as a talent by the likes of DJ EZ, Diplo & MistaJam.
Expertly combined & poignantly created during the lockdowns of 2020, Perry’s first ever
release has already created hype and is set to be a festival & radio anthem for Summer 2021.
In the 90s, Tony’s cousin helped create The Source’s ‘You Got The Love’ with the vocals of
Candi Station fused with Frankie Knuckles ‘Your Love’. 30 years on, history has repeated
itself with the release of ‘Free for Sweet Harmony’, set to be a radio and festival hit. Look out
for remixes, and some truly awe inspiring shows from Tony Perry this summer.
Tony’s love of rave culture sees him create a mash-up of two classics,an anthem for the present. A message of unity, ‘Free for Sweet Harmony’ samples Rozalla’s 1991 global hit ‘Everybody’s Free’ which peaked at #1 on the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, and hit the top 10 in the UK, Germany, Denmark & Sweden, with 1992 piano rave cult-classic “Sweet Harmony” – both officially cleared and approved.
